Nice play area. Parking is free for two hours, and I guess it's free after 6 PM. Nice flying fox, climbing, slides. Kids loved it.

Central Park is a 13-hectare Wellington City Council Town Belt reserve at 32 Brooklyn Road in Brooklyn, blending exotic woodland, native bush, a stream and formal gardens with the Renouf Tennis Centre and a destination playground. The play area packs in a three-cable flying fox, a 6m space-ball climbing frame, spinner bowl, whirl, swings, slides, crawl tunnels, climbing nets and seesaws, with picnic tables, accessible toilets and parking off Brooklyn Road below the tennis centre. The park has hosted formal play equipment for children since at least 1927.
