The play space leans nature-inspired with traditional swings and slides alongside log climbs and ropes that blend into the trees, plus walking tracks, picnic spots, toilets, and parking. A cricket and football sportsground sits beside the bush, with the broader park used as a quieter family stop than the better-known Palmerston North destinations.

Nice little playground in Palmerston North, which gets multiplied by two / three when combined with the playgrounds at the back, shared with Hokowhitu School. Also a large expanse of turf for playing sports, and a grown arboretum towards the side. Off-street parking, picnic tables, water fountain, a bit of a view of the mountains. Nice stop in a tour of the best playgrounds in Palmerston North. Nearby good playgrounds are at Crewe Crescent Park and Milverton Park.
