Franklin Reserve is a Palmerston North City Council neighbourhood reserve on Franklin Avenue in Hokowhitu, the riverside suburb between the city centre and Hokowhitu Lagoon. The fenced playground combines swings, a slide and a learn-to-ride bike loop with shaded picnic seating and public toilets, popular as a casual play-and-picnic stop. The reserve sits within Hokowhitu's wider network of small parks including the Hokowhitu Domain, Hokowhitu Lagoon and Crewe Crescent Reserve. Best treated as a comfortable Palmerston North family stop.
