Heard Park is a small unfenced pocket park in the heart of Parnell on Parnell Road, gifted to Auckland by the Heard family of Heards Candy in 1953. The 2023-refurbished inclusive playground reflects the family’s iconic lollipops with Matariki-themed translucent ‘lollipop top’ shade panels, a log swing, basket swing, springy car, in-ground trampoline, climbing and balancing equipment, sound tubes, plus a wheelchair-accessible picnic table and drinking fountain. Lots of seating, paving and public toilets sit alongside.

It was nice place to relax and eat food. The heard park got a big Building. In the front theres a kids swings, a public toilet, heaps of seating areas and enjoy. It’s a Small park in the heart of Parnell. The park is a combination of grass and paving with lots of seating and some small trees.
Very nice place for a meet-up, lunches, quick relaxing...lots of benches and trees. Feed the bird 🐦🐦🐦🐦. I am sure this places just as awesome and relaxing in the evening. If you are in Parnel walk about and need a place to chilll, this is it. Note: No toilets or parking available here. …
