Outhwaite Park is a small heritage Grafton reserve at 53 Carlton Gore Road, opposite the Auckland Domain. The grounds preserve the homestead site of the Outhwaite family (resident 1844–1925) and include Outhwaite Hall (available for hire), flower beds, a BBQ area, toilet block and a small children’s playground. The park is also a dedicated dog exercise area with limited on-street parking.

This is an unknown public park. Who's ever heard of it let alone been there? So next time you are in Grafton check out this fine old fashioned garden park. Good for picnics! Especially enjoyable in spring and summer. Astonishing trees.
