Newmarket Park is a 6ha Auckland Council amenity park slung between Parnell, Newmarket and Remuera, accessed off Ayr Street with carved-boulder gateway artworks inspired by Waitaramoa. The higher part of the park holds the playground (on rubber surfacing with native plantings, a Roctopus and climbing net) plus a decorative pond, before dropping steeply along the Newmarket Stream toward Hobson Bay. Picnic seating and parking are at the Ayr Street entrance.
