Gribblehirst Park is a 5.9-hectare Auckland Council reserve in Sandringham at 225 Sandringham Road, opened in 1931 over former swampland. The grounds include sports fields, a basketball half-court and forested edges, with the multi-level upgraded playground featuring a flying fox, Sky Surfer swing, multiple slides, climbing apparatus and swings for all ages. A fenced electric BBQ, picnic seating, wheelchair-accessible toilets and a rose garden near Aroha Avenue round it out.
