Fairfield Park is a heritage reserve in Nelson South administered by Nelson City Council, on the site of the 1851-1909 Trafalgar Street cemetery. The park has a large sweeping lawn, mature trees, a small rotunda and a children's play area with picnic seating, walking and jogging paths and a drinking fountain; the rotunda is a popular wedding venue.

A very peaceful, tranquil park, ideal for a picnic on a sunny day. Walking around the grounds there are plenty of historical things to look at as this place is steeped in Nelson history. Also there is a small playground for the kids to play in.

Great history behind the house, so glad to see it restored instead of being demolished. Hosts meetings and functions now in a nice setting @Ldienes on instagram
