Great suburban park for the kiddies. Best access from Chelmsford street. Quiet overall and not filled with teenagers filling in time! Can be a bit of a wind tunnel if the weather is bad.

Chelmsford Street Playground is an Invercargill City Council neighbourhood play space in Waverley, fronting Chelmsford and Helmsdale streets. The compact playground combines a slide, a double swing set including an infant swing, a horse boat, a seesaw and a play tunnel, aimed at younger primary kids. Best treated as a local stop for the surrounding streets rather than a destination playground.
