Chalmers Reserve is an Auckland Council green space at 22 Chalmers Street in Avondale, with the playground sitting in a wider park footprint that includes a BBQ, picnic tables, a boardwalk and a pond plus a small fenced orchid conservation area. A shared cycle and walking path runs along one side, linking into the New Lynn to Avondale shared path corridor, and a refreshed playspace is being designed by Auckland Council after the original was decommissioned. Best treated as a relaxed local park stop combining play with a pond walk.
