Wellsford Centennial Park is Auckland Councils main sports park on Centennial Park Road in Wellsford, just off State Highway 1. The neat hedge-edged playground includes a basket swing, a wooden play tower with rope climbing walls, walking bridges, and a slide, with shade trees, plenty of parking, and toilets. Extensive sports grounds sit alongside, and the Rodney Local Board signed off a masterplan in 2023 that is now rolling out upgraded courts, improved parking, safer access, and playground improvements over the next decade. A practical community sports park rather than a destination playground.
