The Sunrise Boulevard playground at Snells Beach is the largest of three Snells Beach playgrounds, sitting on the foreshore reserve opposite 6 Sunrise Boulevard. The play space features climbing spinning ropes, standard swings, pod swings, slides, a flying fox and a basketball hoop. Around it run a beachside scooter/bike path linking to neighbouring playgrounds, picnic lawns under mature pōhutukawa trees, public toilets and a public BBQ on the long flat shallow Snells Beach with its rock pools.
