Campbell Park is a Kāpiti Coast District Council reserve in Paekākāriki, set between Wellington Road and The Parade across from Paekākāriki Beach and a 10 minute walk from the village shops and train. The destination playground is split between a younger-kids section with small slides, ladders, tunnels and a fire engine, and an older section with a wavy slide, monkey bars, rock climbing walls, ropes and a wobbling balance-beam bridge, with a long slide forming the Wellington Road entrance. A skatepark, soccer fields, walking track, accessible toilets and drinking fountains including one for dogs round out the park. Best treated as a destination Kāpiti family day stop.
