Matthews Park is a Kāpiti Coast District Council sports reserve on Menin Road in Raumati South, next door to Kāpiti College and the Kāpiti Bears Rugby League clubrooms. The playground sits on the edge of the sports fields with a slide, swings and a seesaw, alongside a half basketball court, water fountain, seating and toilets. The wider park hosts cricket and touch in summer and senior rugby league plus junior soccer in winter, so it gets busy on weekends. A versatile community park suiting both young families and sports clubs.
