Matthews Park is a Kapiti Coast District Council sports park on Menin Road in Raumati South, sitting next to Kapiti College and a short walk from Raumati Beach. The fields host cricket and touch in summer then flip to rugby league and soccer in winter, with the Kapiti Bears Rugby League clubrooms on site. The playground beside the fields includes a slide, swings, seesaw, plenty of run-around space, and a keyhole basketball court. A practical sports-led community park rather than a destination playground.
