Browns Bay Playground sits inside Browns Bay Beach Reserve on Manly Esplanade, an Auckland Council waterfront reserve directly behind the beach with views across to Rangitoto Island. The brightly coloured nautical-themed playground features slides, climbing frames, shaded swings (including an accessible basket swing), nautical-themed rocking equipment, tactile boards, a ship-deck lookout with binoculars and a set of monkey bars under the central slide. The play space sits on soft matting, with an adjacent skate park (half-pipes, quarter-pipes, ledges), drinking fountains, beach access and the village shops nearby.
