The Cornwall Park Splash Pad is the water-play centrepiece of Hastings District Councils Green Flag award-winning Cornwall Park, rebuilt in 2019. Bring towels and togs; the splash pad runs through summer alongside the destination playground with the 10m acorn climbing tower, flying fox, mini trampolines, slides, monkey bars, tunnels, spinners, and a fenced junior play area. Toilets, picnic shelter, shade sails, and drinking fountains support a full-day visit, and the splash pad is well-regarded as one of Hawkes Bays best water-play stops. A destination-grade water playground rather than a quick local stop.
