Anderson Park is a 24-hectare Invercargill garden estate on McIvor Road in Waikiwi, mixing landscaped lawns, native kahikatea bush walks, a duck pond, miniature rose garden and the culturally significant Te Wharepuni o Anehana. The headline children’s playground showcases New Zealand’s tallest play tower along with adaptive swings, an inclusive roundabout and sensory-friendly design. Picnic shelters, BBQs, accessible toilets and free parking round it out; the 1925 Georgian mansion and gallery are closed for earthquake strengthening.

Beautiful place to visit on a sunny day. We went on Saturday and not many around. Had a great time with kids and friends.
