Woodland Playground is the Warner and Connor inclusive nature playground inside Rawhiti Domain in New Brighton, Christchurch, just back from Shaw Avenue. The play space was built by the Guardians of Rawhiti Domain charitable trust to be accessible for children with special needs, and pairs woodland-themed nature play with an adjoining sensory garden. It works well as a quieter alternative to the busier New Brighton beachside playground for families wanting a sensory-friendly visit.

This was a fantastic privately funded project that build the area. Its now been handed over to the Christchurch City Council. I go regularly with my grandson and he has a great time playing on the log climbs, slide and flying fox. Its an awesome place for kids of all ages
