South New Brighton Park is a 28-hectare estuary-side Christchurch City Council reserve on Beatty Street, with views of the Southern Alps and Avon-Heathcote Estuary. The grounds include junior and senior soccer fields, a cricket pitch, basketball court, small skate area, walking jetty and multiple playgrounds with climbing structures, slides, swings, monkey bars and a big flying fox. New toilets, picnic areas and parking sit alongside, accessed past the South Brighton Community Centre.
