Waiwherowhero Park is a Hamilton City Council park on Waiwherowhero Drive in St Andrews, with a central playground tucked among native plantings that reflect the Waikatos historic vegetation. Walking paths loop past ponds, leisure equipment, picnic spots, a bike track, and a memorial marking the site of the former Te Rapa Aerodrome. The off-leash dog area, tui, kereru, fantails, ducks, and geese give the park a relaxed nature-led feel. A pleasant local stop and walking park rather than a destination playground.

Nice small playground, has been recently updated in 2023. One picnic table, small kids bike track. Good size field to throw a ball around or fly a kite

Lots of shady trees, new playground, shade cover and room to run around. There is a plaque acknowledging Jean Batten landing here in 1936.
