Beautiful park and riverside. Flat and suitable for bikes. Was around when the river was very high- impressive!

Braithwaite Park is a riverside amenity reserve in the Pukete suburb of Hamilton, linking to the Waikato River walkway via cobblestoned paths and a pedestrian bridge to Flagstaff. The park has a small beach popular for summer picnics, swimming and water-skiing, a jetty and ferry terminus, an off-leash dog exercise area, public toilets and on-site parking off Totara Drive.
