Tirohanga Whānui Park is a Nelson City Council reserve at the top of Bay View Road in Atawhai, with the playground offering spectacular views across Tasman Bay and the Boulder Bank. The play space combines slides, swings, monkey bars and climbing equipment under shade, popular with both kids and adults for the scenery. Best treated as a destination Nelson family stop combining play with a bay outlook.
