St Leonards Park Playground is a Hastings District Council agriculture-themed play space inside St Leonards Park in Raureka, accessed off Francis Hicks Avenue, Townshend Street, and Southampton Street. Opened in October 2023 as the third of the Raureka Parks upgrades, the playground nods to the nearby Stortford Lodge saleyards (120 years operating) with a custom stock truck, farm scene, and cow rocker, joined by swings, a carousel, and a climbing tower. The wider park hosts Western Rangers Football Club in winter and touch rugby in summer, with a dual toilet, off-street parking, shade sails, fully fenced playground, and picnic tables. A solid community sports-and-play hub.

A great place to bring the kids. The usual climbing frames, slides, swings and merry-go-rounds. Picnic tables and toilet facilities available. Some shade sails and trees for sun protection. Great for the kids from 3-8. Toilet facilities were not so clean on this visit but this is often hit and miss being public.
