Scarborough Park is a Christchurch City Council park on Sumner's beachfront Esplanade, with a colourful marine-themed playground and a free summer paddling pool (open mid-November to late March). Playground equipment includes a giant mouse wheel, climbing towers and nets, slides, swings (including a giant rope swing), a see-saw and a rocking horse. Adjacent are picnic tables with shade, the Sumner Clock Tower and direct access to Sumner Beach.
