Russell Square is a south-Invercargill neighbourhood park near the corner of Elles Road and Dalrymple Street, with a fenced modern playground featuring a flying fox, rock climbing wall, spider-web climbing frame, basketball hoop and a separate younger-children’s zone. Tennis and netball courts, picnic areas, shaded seating and parking sit around the play space, and Invercargill City Council has been progressively upgrading fencing, paving and adding a drinking fountain and seesaw based on community feedback.

Fabulous playground w the best flying fox. New gas BBQ facilities provided for free, hope the users clean it thoroughly! Good for monarch butterfly fans too...
