Appleby Park is an Invercargill City Council Town Belt sports reserve on Dalrymple Street in Appleby, home to the Appleby Cricket Club, Invercargill Rugby Football Club, and Southend Boxing and Fitness. The park is mainly used for organised sport with a small play area beside the fields; the bigger Russell Square play space sits nearby with flying fox, climbing poles, and spacenet for destination play. A community sports park rather than a destination playground.
