Roxburgh Memorial Park (also known as King George V Memorial Park) is Central Otago District Councils main Roxburgh play space, on Till Street at the southern end of town. The fenced playground caters from about age three up with a large modular climbing unit, swings, slides, a seesaw, a traditional merry-go-round, and a vintage bulldozer to clamber on, with hillocks and exposed rock tors giving the setting a Central Otago feel. Mature oak trees provide welcome shade on hot inland days, with toilets and run-around space close by. A short walk leads up to the Lookout and War Memorial for views over the Teviot Valley. Well-regarded by locals and travellers as Roxburghs busiest reserve.
