Rangitane Park is a 2.1 acre Palmerston North City Council park on Racecourse Road in Awapuni, recently refreshed with a popular ripple slide as the playground centrepiece. Alongside the toddler-leaning play space sit a basketball court, open lawn for bikes and scooters, walking paths, toilets, and a drinking fountain, with free street and on-site parking. Well-regarded by Awapuni families and a tidy after-school stop. A relaxed neighbourhood park rather than a destination playground.
