Puketapu Park (Puketapu Domain) is a Hastings District Council rural reserve alongside the Tutaekuri River, west of Napier. The modern children’s playground packs in a large tandem flying fox, four-person seesaw and spinning Roktopus tyre swing on grassy terrain. Free electric BBQs, clean public toilets and a large lawn complement the playground; self-contained campervans can park up to two nights under the freedom camping policy.
