Anderson Park is Napier City Council's 36-hectare flagship park in Greenmeadows, home to the city's inclusive destination playground that opened in July 2018 and won the NZRA's Outstanding Park Award. The play space is laid out east-to-west by age, with mini climbing frames and a little slide for toddlers transitioning into bigger climbing structures, rock slopes, slides, flying foxes, in-ground trampolines, tunnels, swings (including accessible options), a musical bridge, drums and xylophone, whispering posts and braille-equipped artwork. A 2024 upgrade added an inclusive carousel, inclusive seesaw, wheelchair trampoline and wheelchair swing; the wider park also has a skate bowl, water play, toilets, picnic lawns and a network of paths.
