Kinloch Reserve is a narrow Auckland Council strip reserve linking the Hibiscus Coast Highway with the northern end of Ōrewa Beach. The site offers car park access, picnic tables and seating under shade, public toilets, a changing room and an outdoor beach shower for swimmers - a low-key local access point and picnic stop rather than a destination playground. The nearest playgrounds are Ōrewa Reserve and Ōrewa Domain a short walk south.

Lovely small reserve. Shame the toilets and changing room are closed. It's the 24th November 23 and they've been closed for a couple of weeks. Hopefully the council will sort this out and reopen them soon. Good views both ways along Orewa Beach.
Went for a pitstop!! Was disappointed as the toilet I used, was disgusting. Smelly and toilet paper everywhere. Looks like the low life has moved into the area!! Leaving all their mess behind.
