Pirimai Playground on Allen Berry Avenue is a small Napier City Council neighbourhood playground in the Pirimai suburb, built as a community initiative with Council adding seats, rubbish bins, and trees while locals raised the funds and ran the working bee. Equipment is modest: swings and a multi-combination unit for climbing and balancing, with shade from the planted trees. A handy local stop for a quick run-around rather than a destination playground. Pirimai Park sits separately on Sandown Road for a larger play.

Nice homely park kids enjoy it. This park has a lot of grass area awesome for kite flying and there is a cricket pitch present, the pitch is not Mc Clean park material but good for a friendly hit with family and friends. There are also no rest rooms or water fountains.

Excellant park for all ages. The only downfall is there is very little shade and the grass is quite long and thick making it a bit of work to 0ush a stroller through but that is just nit picking
