Maraenui Park is a 5.86-hectare Napier City Council sports park on Waterworth Avenue in Onekawa, set aside in 1969 by the Housing Division. The grounds host the Maraenui Rugby & Sports Association with three winter rugby pitches (six touch fields), a netball court and softball training diamond. The fenced playground includes six high swings, a turnspike roundabout, multi-combination unit with slides plus a skate bowl and a splash pad, with shaded seating, picnic spots, toilets and changing rooms close by.

This play ground is so nice for the kids and parents to get together

Windy that day and a few rubbish flying around, nice to see some of the regulars pitch in to tidy up the park. And those that regularly used the facilities and park leave it clean and tidy.
