Petone Memorial Park is a sportsground on Bracken Street, Petone, anchored by an 11,000 square metre fully floodlit artificial turf pitch installed in 2013 and an adjacent grass training pitch that was the first fully floodlit training pitch in the Wellington region (established 1979). The park has clubrooms and a Garden of Remembrance dedicated to World War II soldiers. It is the home ground of Petone FC and a base for Capital Football.

Memorial Park in Petone is a top grade venue for local football matches in Lower Hutt, Aotearoa. It is the home of Petone Football Club who have been based there since 1961 as well as Capital Football who look after the game for the Wellington Region.

Fantastic football facility for the Hutt and greater Wellington as a whole. Visiting from the Waikato I was quite envious of the setup Capital Football and Petone Football Club have. Great work to those have made it happen
