Peringa Park is the home ground of Peringa United AFC and Fitzroy Cricket Club on Clemow Road in Fitzroy, New Plymouth - one of Taranaki's largest football venues. Alongside the sports fields, a small playground sits beside the carpark and the park is the inland end of the access route to Te Rewa Rewa Bridge across the Waiwhakaiho River on the 13km Coastal Walkway. It is a working community sports hub with strong local club ties, suited to combining a kick-around with a walk to the bridge rather than as a destination playground.

Hidden away Lil gem. Nice for quiet walk and not far from beach. It's only ever used on Saturdays for New Plymouth Soccer
