Paritutu Centennial Park is an 89-acre coastal reserve in Spotswood, New Plymouth, anchored by Paritutu Rock (about 156m), a former Māori food-storage lookout offering panoramic views of the Tasman Sea, Sugar Loaf Islands and Mt Taranaki. The trail starts near the carpark off Rangitake Drive/Centennial Drive and uses chains for the near-vertical sections; the wider park offers picnic spots, walking tracks, free parking and dedicated motorhome freedom-camping bays. There is no traditional children’s playground.
