They spent a lot of money building it, but it is wonderful. Flying fox, outdoor gym equipment, ninja warrior course, bike course, and a 2 massive child playgrounds complete with splash pad for summer. all right at the seaside.

Kāwaroa Park is a New Plymouth District Council coastal destination playground on Tisch Avenue, next to the Kāwaroa Reef and Coastal Walkway. The headline feature is the tall Matariki-themed tower rising above the coastline with climbing challenges, alongside a Warrior Zone outdoor-training course for older kids and teens, a flying fox, water play features, large rope structures, climbing platforms, slides, a bike pump track and sheltered picnic areas. It is one of the largest and most impressive destination playgrounds in Aotearoa.
