Ōrewa Skatepark is one of Auckland’s best-designed skate parks, sitting inside Western Reserve on the Hibiscus Coast Highway at the edge of the Ōrewa Estuary. Designed by RICH Landscapes, the 2010s build features ramps, ledges, rails, kickers, small and large half pipes and bowls, regarded as one of the country’s most popular skate spots. The wider Western Reserve adds a basketball court, playground, sports fields, the Estuary Arts Centre, Hibiscus Coast Community House and Youth Centre, plus toilets and accessible parking close at hand.

Great place for the kids but the adult kids who think they own the place need to give themselves an uppercut at times! Adult kids have limited concern for the wellbeing of young ones so dads be prepared to watch every move your young 'learners' make.
