Maygrove Park is a 4.8-acre reserve on Riverside Road in Orewa, sitting on the edge of the Te Ara Tahuna / Ōrewa Estuary Path. The renovated playground caters for a wide age range with a playhouse, tube slide, climbing wall, climbing net, fire pole and double slide for older kids and a junior module, basket swing, seesaw, tipi spinner and sensory musical flowers and drums for younger children, plus picnic tables, a petanque court and a sculpture trail.

Review
A peaceful park surrounded by trees, houses and retirement homes. There are 4 swings in total, a Seesaw, large slide, smaller slides and a horizontal ladder for the kids to climb. It also has two pull up bars for exercising. There is large space on the grass to have a picnic, with big trees, bird life all around you. It's a 2 minute walk to the estuary walkway, next to Orewa College and also very close to Orewa Beach.
