Onepoto Park is a Porirua City Council reserve in Tītahi Bay, a Crown-derived reserve that mixes a working community sports ground with a sensitive wetland riparian habitat home to banded kokopu and other freshwater species. The site hosts field sports, kickboxing, indoor bowls and scouts and is known among locals as a calisthenics spot for its outdoor monkey bars and dip bars; a small playground and a fenced dog-exercise area in the plantation round it out. Functional rather than destination - good for a quick play stop with a side of bird-watching.
