Marsden Recreational Ground is a Nelson City Council sports park in Stoke on the corner of Songer Street and Main Road Stoke, home to the Stoke-Nayland Cricket Club. The Marsden Park playground sits alongside the cricket field and was rebuilt by the end of 2020 with a tower and slide, eagle-claw swing, natural play features, picnic tables and new planting. The combination of large open sports ground and refreshed playground makes it a popular family stop in Stoke. Suits mixed ages from toddlers up.

Just want to kick a ball about, play a bit of cricket, or fly a kite with the kids? Then this is just the place. A nice little open park.
