Marewa Park is an 18.1-acre Napier City Council sports park on Herrick Street, home in winter to Port Hill, Marewa and Napier South Football Clubs and used year-round for athletics, croquet, lawn bowls, marching and senior cricket. A children’s playground built by the Jaycees post-WWII sits at the opposite end of the park with swings, slides, picnic seating and shade. Toilets are on site and the park is open 24 hours.

As I do the maintenance on this park, I'm a bit bias about this park. It's a hidden gem of a park, to which I hold in high regard. It's great to see it being used alot more now days with many codes using its open spaces & high standard of keeping on this ground. By staff & sports people alike.
