Its really smooth and is fun for learning tricks like a finger whip. And there's a fun grinding ledge with a rail next to it.

Mangakino Flowpark is the Manawatū District Council Feilding flowpark on Church Street, completed in July 2020 on the former Makino Aquatic Centre detention pond site. Designed by Rich Landscapes, Makion Leisure and Flow Group and a local skater group, the park combines a flow bowl with a bowled miniramp, a corner-transitioned bank with waterfall to a deep end, a stair set with hubbas and handrail, plus a street flow area of rails, ledges, wollies and a stepped skate kerb. The flowpark name reflects its use by scooters, BMXers and rollerbladers as well as skaters. The name Mangakino was gifted to council by Ngāti Kauwhata, referring to the Makino Stream. Best treated as a teen / older-kids skate and wheels stop alongside the Makino Aquatic Centre.

Hoodrats are very friendly! Some young and very generous man named Ricco Murphy helped me 'drop in' on a skateboard and then proceeded to allow me to take a 'spin' on the 'vapourizing device'. Kids these days are so well brought up and kind!
