Manawaroa Park is a Palmerston North City Council sports reserve on Manawaroa Street in West End, a large open green space close to the Manawatū River. The park hosts cricket in summer and hockey in winter, sharing pavilion and changing room facilities with neighbouring Ongley Park. The playground sits alongside the sports fields and is best treated as a sports park stop with a playground attached rather than a destination playground.
