La Rosa Garden Reserve is an Auckland Council Green Bay reserve at 8 La Rosa Street, named after the La Rosa farming family who were prominent Green Bay citizens in the early 1900s. The grounds include a rose garden at the La Rosa Street entrance, a community fruit orchard on the sloped northern end and a flat accessible path network linking established trees, public artworks and seating. The small playground has two modules suited to children up to eight (slides, climbing, swings, rocker toys), with picnic spots, toilets and parking off La Rosa Street. Gates open 7am–9pm in summer and 7am–7pm in winter.

Small little gem. Has a good walking track but is very short. A basic playground for kids. Some nice little areas to explore

Lovely hidden gem. This park has paths crossing over the stream, and twisting through the trees. There ate plenty of spots for a picnic, or places for the kids to play. The playground is great too
