Karenga Park Reserve is a Rotorua Lakes Council neighbourhood park in Koutu, redeveloped as the Koutu Youth Space with a new skatepark, BMX features, basketball court and netball court alongside an existing playground and open field. The playground itself has a tower with slide, basket swing, spinning carousel, seesaw and a small nature-play area with stepping logs. It is well-regarded by visitors for combining toddler-friendly play with serious skate and BMX facilities under LED lighting that extend the day, so it works for mixed-age family groups. Parking is on Bennetts Road off Koutu Road.

Karenga Park in Rotorua is a great spot for outdoor activities. With its concrete skate area, basketball courts, and open fields, there's plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The facilities are well-maintained and the park offers a nice, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended for those who love sports and the outdoors!
