Has a nice new play ground but is still a little underwhelming. The baby swing seat only has a chain so they can slip out. The kids love watching the trucks drive past.

Kaimanawa Park is a Palmerston North City Council neighbourhood reserve at 92 Kaimanawa Street in Kelvin Grove, sitting alongside the Kelvin Grove Community Centre. The play area pairs swings and a slide with a basketball hoop, suiting a mix of toddlers through to primary-aged kids. Dogs are kept away from the playground but allowed on lead in the northern half of the park, so it works well for families with both kids and dogs. The play area had a recent furniture refresh and benefits from easy parking next to the community centre.

Visited the community hall for a DJ gig, parking can be issue here as it's all off Street, no driveway for the property so you gotta drive up the kerb to get loading/ unloading done. Windows open/ broken? Covered with plastic.
