Eric Armishaw Park is an Auckland Council park at the western end of the Point Chevalier peninsula (named after Eric Armishaw, an Auckland City councillor of 18 years). The playground opened in November 2017 and features five swings (including a basket swing) for all ages and abilities, climbing equipment and a large hamster wheel on bark and astroturf surfaces, with level path access. The wider park has a small learn-to-ride bike track, sandpit, picnic tables, toilets, changing rooms and a beach shower, sitting 200m from the water's edge.

Nice quick little break area with a nice view. Got some take-away and parked up in the car. Nice little walk or cute spot to take some photos or just enjoy the view

Really cool local park, feels very open and peaceful here. Good - equipment is pretty decent, giant hamster wheel definitely loads of fun. Close to the beach, has a small bike track leading out to Pt Chev and massive toilets and even has a shower. Bad - no sun cover, killer during the day. Not close to any shops or cafes. Great place to picnic and relax with the kids.
