Decks Reserve is the Tasman District Council heritage park in central Motueka between Wallace and Greenwood Streets, made a reserve in 1954. The play space sits at the western end of the path that loops the green space, with slide, swings, and climbing equipment beside the Kiyosato Japanese Gardens (planted 2001), picnic area, large playing field for touch rugby and cricket, public toilets, library and visitor centre, and a popular Sunday market 9am to 1pm. A relaxed central Motueka stop pairing gardens and play rather than a destination playground.
